Futurist Jack Uldrich to Take a Backwards Stroll Into Tomorrow

Thought leader Jack Uldrich is set to deliver the opening keynote for the American planning Association on Sunday, April 3. Uldrich will deliver his presentation, "Vuja De: A Futurist Takes a Backwards Stroll into Tomorrow."

Deja Vu or vuja de? Futurist Jack Uldrich says, "By looking to the past, organizations will be better able to harness the tools and build the solutions necessary to create the future workplace."

Uldrich will kick off the American Planning Association's Conference this Sunday, April 2, in Phoenix, AZ with his keynote address "Vuja De: A Futurist Takes a Backwards Stroll Into Your World of Tomorrow."

By looking to the past, organizations will be better able to harness the tools and build the solutions necessary to create the future workplace.

A lover of philosophy, Uldrich says one of the inspirations for his Vuja De talk is based on what Confucius suggested so long ago, "To study the past is to define the future."

In addition to helping his APA audience "define the future" Uldrich aims to, "shake up their assumptions and get them ready for the fresh ideas coming their way in the days ahead."

A renowned trend expert and the best-selling author of eleven books, Uldrich is a frequent guest on national media and regularly appears on the Science Channel's television program, "FutureScape" and the Discovery Channel show "Inside Out." Uldrich also regularly appears on CNN, CNBC, and NPR, and in the pages of The Wall Street Journal, Wired, and Forbes.

A prolific speaker on technology, change management and leadership he has addressed Fortune 100 corporations, venture capital firms, associations, not-for-profit organizations and state and regional governments on five continents.
